Summer Update

Grandma & Aunt Marilyn Come For a Visit

Last week Josh's Grandma and Great Aunt Marilyn came for a visit. They were doing Grandma's noraml whorl wind tour of the east coast... Us then to Jacksonville to see Jennie and all the Halls, then to Atl to see the rest of the Roon crew. They did change it up a bit thought this time first they went to DC to see the cherry blossoms in full bloom and then they came to us.  We had such a great time with them and Reilly just loved spending time with "Nima" and "Mer".  We went and had hibachi  the first night they were here. It was so good and reilly loved watching the Chef cook in front of us; although he got pretty freaked out when he did the big fire.  On saturday we went to the VA aquarium at the beach. What a blast!!! it was so much fun watching him run around and he justed LOVED the turtles!!  couldn't get enough. Sunday we had the fam over for dinner and then Monday we watched josh's volleyball game.  It was a very fun filled weekend. As soon as they left, reilly kept asking for "Nima".  He loves her so!!

Opening Day at Bush Gardens

So we have gotten passes for Bush Gardens for this summer and on Sunday they had a preview day for pass holders. We had such a blast as a family. Reilly got to ride his first ride with me and second with Josh. Reilly had a good time but both Josh and I thought we were going to be sick after...those darn round and round rides. In a few weeks the Sesame Street section will open up and Reilly will have even more fun. They had Elmo and some of the other characters out and he got SOOO excited saying "Hi...Hi...Hi...ELMO!! WE are really looking forward to spend lots of time up there. Oh, and yes josh and i did get to ride adult rides. I did my favorite Lochness and Josh did the new Griffon. It was AWESOME!!!

So my brother came down to miami to hang with the family but also he is getting his scuba certification in Key Largo. He got all new gear and the night before he went he tried it all on in my aunt and uncle den. enjoy!!!

So it has been a while... sorry Charity, here is some lunch reading for you.

Back at Christmas the Halls, Josh's sister Jennie, her husband Jeff and their 4 kids Brooke, Bryce, Brynleigh, and Ben, came into town for a long weekend to celebrate. We had a fun visit with them, way to fast, but it was so great to hang out with them for even just a few days!!! We all went to Lynnhaven Mall and did some last minute shopping then all the kids loved playing in the AWESOME play area. That evening we had Christmas at Kai's with the whole family. The next day we just hung out and spent time together. It was way to short a visit and I just am so thankful for having such a great family.

Our Marine Comes Home!!!

So as most of you know my big brother has been in Iraq for the last 7 months. The Tuesday before thanksgiving he came home. It is so great to have him back and enjoying family time. He and Reilly have become fast friends and Uncle Chris, "Unc" as Reilly calls him, has been showing him new and amazing things. Uncle Chris has been doing a lot of babysitting and he is so good at it!!! we are so glad to have him home safe and sound!!!
